Classroom Assessment for Busy Teachers

Program overview

The Classroom Assessment for Busy Teachers courses have been tailored to provide flexible, actionable learning. All courses are structured around small modules called nanoMOOCs.

Each nanoMOOC is:

  • Completed in 45 – 60 minutes
  • Available on demand
  • Fully online
  • Self-paced
  • Recognised with a participation microcredential (badge) that can be shared via digital platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), or attached to job applications

Each course addresses a problem of practice for classroom teachers using a group of nanoMOOCS.  When you enroll in a course, you have access to any of the nanoMOOCs it contains for the one price. Do as many or as few as you choose.

You have the option to take nanoMOOCs in your own time or you can coordinate with colleagues to work through them simultaneously.  The nanoMOOCs can also be completed as part of a professional development day at school.

“They are succinct and extremely helpful because everything relevant has been synthesised and clearly explained. … provides a succinct overview that is not too intense yet really thorough.”

Kim Davis, St Finbar’s PS –
Brighton East

“The course is well paced. The content is very manageable and it proved to be a very thorough refresher. I will draw on this content to support professional learning for our staff. I will also encourage others to undertake the course.”

Linda Kelly, Holy Child Primary School
