Professional Learning
The Assessment Research Centre provides professional learning and credentialing in the area of assessment. Our courses are informed by our experience researching and practicing assessment and measurement for more than 25 years in Australia and internationally. Our goal is to improve the quality of assessment practice by providing courses for educators that are engaging and practical.
Programs
Our Teaching Approach
The Assessment Research Centre teaching approach supports learners by providing the tools they need to make progress. Each course uses a roadmap to show the development of a specific competence that is targeted by that course. Our learning design integrates assessment and feedback to ensure learners know where they are on the roadmap and what they need to do to make progress, irrespective of their starting point.
